Mid-South mourns a champion for women and Memphis

(WMC-TV) – Tennessee lost a champion for women and the city of Memphis. Tina Birchett, the owner and publisher of Grace Magazine and organizer of Sisterhood Showcase, has passed away.
Birchett was the Assistant Secretary for the Riverfront Development Corporation and the founder of Birchett & Associates.
Birchett received numerous awards over the years. The most recent being the Distinguished Community Leadership Award from the YWCA of Greater Memphis in 2011, as well as being an honoree of a Tri-State Defenders Woman of Excellence award in 2010.
Funeral arrangements for Tina Birchett have not been released.

(Memphis) The Mid-South is mourning the loss of a iconic community leader.
Tina Birchett, owner and publisher of Grace Magazine and the organizer of the Sisterhood Showcase, has passed away.
Birchett died Sunday after a battle with cancer.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
In addition to her duties with Grace Magazine and the Sisterhood Showcase, Birchett also worked for the Riverfront Development Corporation.
