Diva Chanté Moore on Making Moves
I’ve been so busy promoting my new album “Moore is More.”  The album drops July 30th but you can pre-order it now on Amazon and iTunes.

Everyone keeps asking me… “Where Have I Been?”  To be honest, I’ve been around…WORKING!  I have consistently been doing what we call spot dates in the industry for over 15 years now.  I haven’t toured but I do perform about 2-3 times a month.  Thank God people call and want me to sing!!!!  I love what I do and I love being on stage.

Diva Chanté on Joining “Divas”
My manager, Cheryl Cobb-Debrosse, is very well respected in the industry and was contacted about me joining the cast.  I was intrigued because it was about MUSIC and not about some cameras following me around cooking in the kitchen so-to-speak- LOL (even though I am a GREAT cook).

I know that reality TV can be challenging but I am willing to share anything that is natural and that’s why I have agreed to talk about my past and present relationships because that is what is natural to me.

I am NOT messy!  For 20 years, you haven’t heard about me and that’s because I am REAL, not messy!

My Birthday Celebration
I love birthdays and in this episode, Kelly was nice enough to put together a birthday dinner for me.  We had SO MUCH FOOD and I love to eat!  My favorite food is CRAB so that was #1 on the list.  We also had a humongous lobster.  It’s easier to cook small lobsters because with the big ones you have to cook  them just right or they might be tough but it was all good.  We had mac-and-cheese – another one of my favorites, collard greens…just so much food and yes, we had spirits too!  I’m a little of a  light weight when it comes to liquor.  I prefer Moscato and mostly sweet light wine. We had a great time!

Diva Chanté on Dinner Conversation
When we started discussing the divalogues I guess my experience just came out.  I can talk about ANYTHING that can help someone else.  In my head, that’s the part that makes it OK to share.

I’ve shared that story before.  I am not ashamed.  It wasn’t a fabulous thing that happened to me THAT day but it made me stronger!  I am more than a survivor!  When the person you love the most (besides your parents) takes the one thing that is THAT precious and you can only give away once it does make you stronger!

Co-Parenting & Kenny Lattimore
As seen on this episode, my ex-husband Kenny is trying to sue for custody of our ten year old son.  This is still going on so I cannot talk about it but we are officially divorced.  That part is over!  I filed, January 11, 2011 at 11 o’clock.

I will never bash Kenny because he is our son’s father.  I have to be conscious and considerate.  Our son is a smart ten-year-old.  He is more like a 12 year old in the head and he will be watching the show so it’s my responsibility to be aware of that.

Diva Chanté on Kadeem Hardison
For the record I want everyone to know that Kadeem and I were married and yes, we are divorced.  We do have a daughter together.  In this episode you see Kadeem and I enjoying lunch and conversation.  That’s typical for us.  I love him and he is family to me.  I am not in-love with him but we share a great friendship. I think it’s obvious that we loved each other and we have kept a level of respect for each other.  At the end of the day, it’s about respect and friendship.  That is something Kenny and I have got to get together.

Diva Chanté on What to Expect this Season
Everyone can expect me to be MYSELF on R&B Divas: LA.  I’m carefree and REAL.   Everyone will get to see my crazy faces that I make – LOL and it’s hard for me to see myself on TV like that but it’s all about acceptance.  I guess it’s a women thing!

Diva Chanté on Timberlands & Vaseline
I want to set the record straight about the “Timberlands and Vaseline” comment.  Something was said to ME and I was simply responding.  I am not a troublemaker but I will NOT run.  You have to keep tuning in to see what really goes down!!!!!
